Monica says that homely image is always safer. Monika who is currently acting in Kannada films said,” In Tamil I was introduced as a child artist.



Later on when I became a heroine I had to struggle to change the child image. In between I had to glamour roles. It was another struggle to get out of this image. Now I have made a clear decision.


I have decided to stick on to homely image which is safer. So I am choosing films with homely roles. I am also happy that Kannada audience has accepted me in homely roles. Since I am getting lot of offers in Kannada films I am learning Kannada seriously.”
